Willie Freeman Davis

Willie Freeman Davis was born April 20, 1945 in Ft. Gaines, Georgia to the parentage of the late Annie Ree and Freeman Davis.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching western movies. He had an heart of gold and would help anyone he could.  He was a hard working man who believed in doing what was necessary to provide for his family.  He was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mary Louise “Eyes” Davis and to this union 4 children were born. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Dean Hanks; a brother, Willie Ed Davis and a loving sister, Alberta Davis.

He departed this life on Friday, August 13, 2021 at his home in Ft. Gaines, Ga.

Those left to cherish his loving memories are 4 children, Ella Ree Davis, Richard Blackmon, Larry B. Davis and Willie Freeman Davis, Jr.; 10 siblings, Roosevelt (Leola) Davis, Charles Davis, Kendall (Jonell) Davis, Alberta Davis, Ella Ree Davis, Ethel (Thurman) Davis, Nan Davis, Johnny Will Davis, Christopher Grimes and Willie Ed (Lurna) Davis;  22 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
