“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1
William Henry Kearney, affectionately known as “Buddy,” was born on November 12, 1929 to Talmadge Kearney and Annie Cannady Kearney in Franklinton, North Carolina.

William was a loyal worker and was offered a position with General Motors Company in the engineering department, where he worked for 37 (thirty-seven) years, retiring in 1988. He was a life-long member of the Free Masons.
Love has a time and he found it in marrying Mary Steward on June 11, 1983.
On Sunday, April 17th, at his residence, “Buddy,” quietly exchanged his walk in life for eternal rest with his Heavenly Father, In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James, Edward and Hubert Kearney and his sister, Annie Mae Kearney Boone.
