Mr. Ruby Lee Deloach, age 88, was born on December 24, 1935, in Hardridge Creek, AL, to the late Johnny Deloach and the late Mammie Spann Deloach. He peacefully passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Fort Gaines Health and Rehab, in Fort Gaines, GA.
Mr. Ruby confessed to Christ at an early age. He joined into fellowship with Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church and later joined Greater Friendship A.M.E. Church, where he remained until death.
He attended Free Gift School, in Screamer, AL.
He worked numerous of years in the logging industry and later retired from West Point Stevens, in Abbeville, AL.
Mr. Ruby and Ms. Della Mae Grimsley joined into holy matrimony in 1961, and to this union God blessed them with two children.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Ruby was preceded in death by his brother, John A. Deloach and sister, Mary Nell Williams.
He leaves cherished memories to his wife, Della Mae Deloach of Shorterville, AL; two sons, Lee Vandy (Pearl) Deloach of Clayton, AL and Marvin (Deborah) Deloach of Jonesboro, GA; 5 grandchildren, Latrice Deloach, Lee Deloach, Jr., Brian Deloach, Brandon (Anita) Deloach, and Breonna (Shawn) Ellis; 10 great grandchildren; a special cousin, Katherine Patterson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, other sympathizing relatives and friends.
