On Sunday, October 29, 2023, Mr. Robert Lee Curry (74) passed away peacefully at his home in Coleman, GA. He was born March 10, 1949 to the late Eddie Walton Curry and Lille Mae Curry.
To Know Him:
Robert “The Horse Whisperer” Curry quit school early in life and got a job to help support his family. He was a hardworking man, he worked until he couldn’t anymore. He started grooming horses and cleaning stables soon after he started breaking and training them. He became an everyday Cowboy. He started our doing field trials and then started participating in some horse show. He won a lot of medals. He trained horses to do some of the same things that man can do, like dance. He spent many years showing off his skills on a horse. Whenever you saw him he was wearing a cowboy hat with cowboy boots. He was friendly to all. He also farmed for many years under Mr. Gerald Isler.
He was preceded in death by his lovely wife Mrs. Inez J. Curry, first-born son, Christopher “Skip” Curry, oldest brother, Eddie Curry, and two sisters, Freddie Jean Nunnally (Charlie) and Betty Chambers (Rufus).
