Rickey clarence Griggs

Mr. Rickey Griggs was born on December 28, 1961, in Fort Gaines, GA, to the late Aaron and Lizzie Mae Thornton Griggs.

He answered his final calling from our Lord and Savior, April 5, 2024 at home with his family.

Rickey was employed in Agriculture in Apopka, FL, during his time there.  He later moved to Georgia and continued his career in self employment.

At an early age he confessed in Christ and joined Berry Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Aaron Griggs, Jr., Larry Griggs, and Joshua Griggs; one sister, Betty Griggs Peterson; and one brother-n-law, James Boykin.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories three caring sisters, Mary Boykin of Apopka, FL, Barbara Griggs of Georgetown, GA, and Ruby Peterson of Trenton, NJ; two loving brothers, Jackie Griggs and Calvin Griggs of Georgetown, GA; two loving aunts, Pecola Griggs of Georgetown, GA, and  Thelma Culver of Apopka, FL; four special nephews, Scoe of Georgetown, Ga, J-Spice, Dre, and Julius of Apopka, FL; one special niece, Sankira Peterson of Georgetown, GA; a special friend, Mark  Harris of Georgetown, GA; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and sympathizing family and friends.
