Rethel Davis was born May 25, 1933 to the parents of the late Mr. Roosevelt and Mrs. Willie Bell Davis. She departed this life on November 7, 2022 at Flowers Hospital, Dothan, AL.
At an early age she confessed Christ and joined St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her health failed.
Rethel, the youngest of seven was preceded in death by her three sisters Roebert Gilbert, Cillie Davis, and Equilla Gilbert, two brothers Freeman Davis and Essie Davis.
She leaves to cherish her children, Eldora (Freddy) Ingram, Carolyn (James) Smith, Verdell (James) Turner, Sonny G. Davis, Johnny (Sharon) Davis, Willie F. Davis & Randy Davis.; twelve grandchildren, Latavia, Alisa, RaMon, Ceasor, James, Tameka, Tanganeka, Karsheena, Kendra, Darlene, Christeen, and Breyasia, and 24 great-grandchildren; a dear friend, Debbie James and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and other friends.
