Phyllis Telisha Jackson Gardner was born on February 18, 1967 in Fort Gaines, GA to Luretha Jackson and the Late Willie Jackson, II.
Phyllis received her education in the Clay and Randolph County School systems, graduating in 1985 from Randolph-Clay High School in Cuthbert, GA. She worked in the medical field for 30 years.
In April 2007, Phyllis was joined in Holy Matrimony to Damon Dawayne Gardner.
Phyllis leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Damon Gardner of Eufaula, AL; her mother, Luretha Jackson of Eufaula, AL; three sons, Corey Walker, Demetris Walker and Keyondera Walker, all of Eufaula, AL; four grandchildren, Khailey Walker, Skylar Walker, Khouri’ana Walker and Starr Walker, all of Eufaula, AL; seven siblings, Wayne (Claudia) Williams of Victorville, CA, Willie Jackson, III, David (Mary) Jackson and James (Lena) Jackson, all of Fort Gaines, GA, Cheryl Gochett, Reginald (Sharon) Jackson, and Jermaine (Octavia) Jackson, all of Eufaula, AL; five sisters-in-law, Sharon Gardner of Columbus, GA, Katrina (Joseph) Lane and Cassandra Gardner both of Albany, GA, Karissa Gardner of Camilla, GA, and Beryl Brown of Illinois; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and sympathizing friends.
