The loving Merel Marie Walker was born July 13, 1960 to the parentage of the late Ella Mae and Eddie L. Smith
At an early age she confessed in Christ and became a member of the Brown Chapel AME Church family where she remained a faithful member until her death. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Jefferson.
On Saturday, August 14, 2021 she entered into eternal rest. She will be missed dearly by her children and all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her loving memories are a daughter, Jennifer (Michael) Eutsey of Louisville, AL; a son, Richard S. Walker of Montgomery, AL; a sister, Julia (James) Spann of Ft. Gaines, GA; 4 brothers, Eddie A. Smith, Curtis (Sandra) Smith and Warrington Standifer all of Ft. Gaines, GA and Willie Joe (Glinnette) Standifer of Virginia Beach, VA; 3 grandchildren; Anesia Eutsey, Mysia Eutsey and Michael Eutsey ; a special niece, Tifinia McClendon and a host of aunts, uncles, other loving relatives and sympathizing friends.
