Mark Nakai Harvey, affectionately known as “Redbuddy”, was born on July 14, 1975 to Brenda Harvey and Earl Riley. He departed his life on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
At an early age he excepted Christ and joined St. Elmo Baptist Church in Omaha, GA.
Mark graduated from Stewart-Quitman High School in 1994. After graduating high school, he joined the USMC. In 1998, he was given a Honorable Discharge from the USMC.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Tequesta Davis Harvey in 1998.
Mark continued his skill as a mechanic until his health began to fail.
Mark is preceded in death by one son Marshavious Galloway.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Tequesta Harvey; his daughters Taquetta Harvey of Phenix City, AL, Shakai Harvey and Shakira Harvey of Georgetown, GA and Kamille Harvey of Eufaula, AL; sons Marcus Harvey and Markell Harvey of Georgetown, GA and Markevious Harvey of Jackson, TN; mother, Brenda Harvey of Dawson, GA and father, Earl Riley of Jesup, GA; two granddaughters, Treasure and Taqiya James; one grandson, Markai Harvey; two sisters, Katina (Tori) Brown of Dawson, GA and Tammy Harvey of Columbus, GA; one brother, Tony (Jolonda) Harvey, Sr. of Augusta, GA; mother-in-law, Irene Davis of Georgetown, GA,; father-in-law, Robert Byrd of Ft. Gaines, GA; brother-in- law, Kenneth (Laconya) Davis of Eufaula, AL; 2 sisters-in-law, Lakiesha (Mario) Thornton of Georgetown, GA and Latasha Byrd of Ft. Gaines, GA; 9 nephews, Daequon Harvey, Tyquavion Harvey, Tony Harvey, Jr., Nikoris Harvey, Omarion Thornton, Travis Edmonds, Tyrice Foster, Javieon Byrd, Devin Byrd; 3 nieces, Carlaisia Harvey, Arieonna Byrd, and Alveya Hayes; brothers-in-love, Jamie Hall and Joseph McLaney; and a host of aunts, uncles , cousins and friends.
