Mario Owens

Mario Owens, age 30 left his earthly home on Tuesday, November 14th, 2023 at the Piedmont Medical Center in Columbus, GA.

Born April 01, 1993 to James Rumph and the late Shirley Owens of Eufaula, AL., he confessed Christ at an early age and joined Green Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where he served faithfully. He also served and worshiped at Davis Chapel A.M.E.

He leaves to cherish his memories his father, James Rumph. Two brothers: Tony Womack, Cincinnati, OH, and Michael Owens, of Eufaula, AL. One sister, Tiffany Rumph of Eufaula, AL. Five aunts Annie Ellington, Rev. Julia Jones, and Catherine Hines, all of Georgetown, GA. Mary Hall of Glenville, AL and Geraldine (Paul) Jackson of Eufaula, AL. Two uncles, Willie Ed Rumph and Walter Rumph both of Georgetown, GA. One great uncle, Ervin (Anne) Rumph of Pearl, Mississippi. Two great aunts, Lucille Kinsey, of Georgetown and Essie (Clarence) White of Miami, FL. Seven nephews, One niece of Cincinnati, OH. Special friends Jerrell Palmer, Uyness Norris Jr. and Jermaine Cobbs all of Georgetown, GA.

Mario was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Shirley Owens, and grandparents Marshall and Callie Rumph.
