Lawrence C Rice

Mr. J. C. Rice  was born February 15, 1928, to the parentage of the late Georgia and Lawrence Rice, Sr., in Georgetown, GA.  He transition to his eternal home to be with the Lord on April 3, 2024.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to his lovely wife of 46 years, Lille Bell Lewis.  He lived majority of his life in Cleveland, OH.

He was employed as a Forklift Driver at Champion International for 35 years.  He retired in 1993 and relocated to Delray Beach, FL.

He was preceded in death by eight siblings, Charlie Mae Malone ( Booker T.), Lille Mae Calloway (L.M. Calloway), Russell Rice ( Shelby), Nina Jones ( Ben), William Rice, Mary Jarrell ( Nathaniel), Lucille Daniels (Johnny), David Rice (Robin), and one daughter, Delorise Baulkman.

Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Georgia Davis (Walter), Cecilia Rice, Cynthia Rice, Debra Rice- Hutley (Keith); one sister, Betty Henley (Henry); one brother, Lawrence Rice, Jr., Eighteen grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 2 great great children; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and sympathizing friends.
