Joyce Marie (Lewis) Maxwell

Ms. Joyce Marie Lewis Maxwell was born on July 22, 1948 in Henry County Alabama to the late Ivan and R.L. Lewis.  Joyce gained her wings on August 8, 2022 at Troy Reginal Medical Center in Troy, AL. 

Joyce joined the First Baptist Church at a very early age.  She graduated high school, with honors, from Henry County Training School in 1966.  Joyce Lewis Maxwell continued her education at Tuskegee Institute.  She graduated in May of 1972 with a degree in Business Management.

Joyce was proceeded in death by her daughter Kalishani Lenett Maxwell and brother Ivan James Lewis.

Joyce Maxwell leaves to cherish her memories her sons Harvey (Ayanna) Maxwell Jr of Prattville, AL, Elbert M. Maxwell of Tuskegee, AL, brother Clifton (Barbara) Lewis of Miami, FL, two grandchildren Shamori D. Maxwell of Dallas, GA and Grayson E. Maxwell of Prattville, AL, a great grand daughter Kalishani Renee Alexander of Dallas, GA, sisters-in-law Doris Lewis of Shorterville, AL and Ceyla (Cecil) Davis of Tuskegee, AL, one brother-in-law Stanley (Nina) Maxwell of Tuskegee, AL, two special cousins Dwayne( Debra) Simpson of Huntsville, AL and Gweyn Simpson of      Savanah, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, other    relatives and friends , all of whom will miss her dearly.
