Mr. Jerry Tim, was born August 22, 1956, to the late Leroy Tims, Sr, and Beulah Mae Tims in Thomasville, GA.
On Tuesday, December 31, he transitioned to his eternal home to be with the Lord, in Tallahassee, FL. His passing was unexpected, but quick as he would’ve wanted.
He retired at an early age, but still was active. He was a jack of all trades, a laid back funny man, who was known by many.
He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and significant other.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Leroy, Jr., Robert, Sr., and Raymond; two sisters, Teka and Sylvia; one son, Willie Jr., and former wife, Shirley A. Davis-Tims, the mother of 5 of his children.
Jerry leaves to cherish his memories, three daughters, Victoria Calhoun (Kristopher Calhoun, Sr.) of Texas, Arica French of Alabama, and Nicole Edmond of Florida; two sons, Victor Tims of Virginia and Theo Davis of Georgia; two sisters, Charlotte Smith (Terry) and Mary Ann Dow; two brothers, Tommy Tims (Louetta) and Andrew Coston (Cathy); 7 granddaughters, Angelique Davis, Mia Davis, Joscelyn Faison, Akira French, ShiMari Davis, Amya Davis, and Jada Davis; 7 grandsons, DMitri Davis, Zy’Derrious Davis, Darreonte Jackson, Billie Speed, Jr., Zieon Edmond, Todd French, Jr., and Kase Calhoun; one nephew, Robert Tims, Jr. (Faye), seven nieces, Eva L. Stringer, Kia M. Stringer, Danielle Major, Danette Major, Heather Major, Janice Floyd (Curtis), and Tamika Hughley; and a host of great grandchildren, great nieces, great nephews, extended family, friends, and his significant other, Linda Brown.
His absence will be deeply felt.
