Henry James Davis

Brother Henry James Davis, Jr. was born October 16, 1955 in Ft. Gaines, Georgia to the parentage of Christine and the late  Elijah Davis.

On September 26, 2020 he entered into eternal rest at Miller County Hospital in Colquitt, GA.

At an early age he confessed in Christ and became a member of Thompson Grove Baptist Church and later spent many Sundays in service at Brown Chapel AME Church, where he was always willing to do what he could.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Patricia Davis and to this union two children were born.

“James” as he was called by most was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Louis Davis and Adell Jones.

Those left to cherish his loving memories are 2 daughters, Angela Davis of Coleman, GA and Denecha Davis of Ft. Gaines, GA; a son, Thomas Lane of Thomasville, GA;  a loving mother, Christine Davis of Ft. Gaines, GA; 4 sisters, Fannie (Joe) Hardnett, Clara Davis and Luella Davis all of Ft. Gaines, GA and Arbrilla Mortimer of Miami, FL; 4 brothers, Alvin Davis, Eugene Davis, Billie Davis and Willie Albert (Regina) Davis all of Ft. Gaines, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
