Mrs. Emma Jane Daniels was born on September 18, 1945 in Clay County, GA to the late Viola (Lynn) Williams and Lofton Williams, Sr. Emma gained her wings on June 1, 2022 at Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula, AL.
Emma joined the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and later served in the church kitchen as a cook. Emma loved fishing, gardening and cooking. Emma was employed at George T. Bagby State Park where she was a cook and provided many delicious meals to her customers. She was famous for her delicious Chicken and Dumplings.
Emma was married to Asbury Daniels, Jr. (Bill) who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by 4 sisters and 1 brother, Mary Granger, Sylvia Williams, Victoria Williams, Lillie Mae Williams and Johnny Peterman, Sr.
Emma leaves to cherish her memories, one child: Anita (Walter) Davis of Georgetown, GA; a special niece that she raised as her daughter, Irene Williams of Days Crossroads; a grandson who she raised, Kelvin Williams of Georgetown, GA; a granddaughter, Alivia Davis of Georgetown, GA; two great grandsons, Kelvin Williams, Jr. and Taylin Bussey, both of Eufaula, AL; three sisters, Ruby Gilbert of Fort Gaines, GA, Annie Williams of Eufaula, AL and Agnes Williams of Ellaville, GA; one brother, Lofton Williams, Jr. of Fort Gaines, GA; and a host of special nieces, nephews who she helped raise, special cousins, relatives and friends.
