Ella Pearl Mercer-McElroy: The angels called on Ella on February 13, 2024. She was born in Georgetown, GA on June 9, 1931, to the late Jim and Myrtle Norris-Mercer. After the passing of her mother while a toddler, she was raised by her father along with her grandparents Charlie and Mary Scott-Norris.

Ella attended Kaigler Training School.

Ella loved cooking and was very good at it. She also loved planting and growing flowers. Please don't step in her flower beds. Her favorite song was, "Put a Little Oil in Your Vessel." But most importantly she loved the Lord and her family.

In addition to her parents, Ella is predeceased by her four sons, Wille McElroy, Jr., Johnny and Neil McEroy, Sr. and Sammie Mercer; a granddaughter Andrea McElroy; three sisters and one brother.
