Bro. Elgen Jordan, Jr., son of the late Elgen Jordan, Sr. & Joyce Ann Jordan was on born on April 14, 1970, in Clay County, Georgia.
He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Aimwell A.M.E. Church.
He attended Randolph Clay High School and later joined Mason Lodge #13.
Bro. Jordan was a man of many things, one would say “A jack of all trades”, but the one thing he cherished the most was his love of being a father.
He worked in the packaging department of West Point Stevens in Abbeville, AL. until his health declined. In the midst of his challenges he remained strong and resilient by keeping his faith in God.
In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his two sisters; Aretha Jordan and Cathy Ann Jordan; Maternal grandparents, Ed and Annie Laura Gordon; his paternal grandparents, Johnnie and Mattie Jordan; and a cousin, Michael Jordan, who was like a brother to him.
He leaves to cherish his love and memories, four daughters, Serdearia Scott, Iesha Wimberly, Essence Jordan (Zy), and Aubree Davis; one son, Elgen (EJ) Z. Jordan; three adopted sisters, Latonya Williams, Shakelia Curry (Zack), and Masalena Eutsey; five nephews, Deshawn Jordan, Trevon Jordan, Demetrice Nunnally (Renesha), Terrell Jordan, and Desmond Jordan; a special friend, Hazel Hanks; a longtime dear friend of whom has been there throughout sickness and health, April Denson; three friends of whom he considered brothers, Jeffrey Bennet, Louis, and Robert Hardwick; one aunt, Gloria J. Lincoln; and a host of great- nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends.
