Eddie Roy Christian

Eddie Roy Christian was born February 26, 1952, in Fort Gaines, GA, to the parentage of Willie Sam Christian and Ethel B. Foy.

At an early age, he became a member of New Judson Baptist Church.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to Shirley Ann Brown.

Eddie Roy was employed with Graham Timber Company for 46 years until his health declined.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Jalin; daughter, Tammy Cannon; sister, Lynette Carter; and brothers, Willie Roy, Willie J. “Duker”, and Byron Mincey.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving wife, Shirley Christian; daughter, Felicia Christian; two granddaughters, Jariah and Jakia; one grandson, Donald Reed, Jr.; two sisters, Ella (Lance) Cannon and Gloria Peterson of Fort Gaines, GA; three brothers, Chester Christian of Fort Gaines, GA, JC (Audrey) Christian of Marlin, TX, and Willie Marshall “Mike” Christian of Atlanta, GA; special cousin and Caregiver to the end, Larry Christian; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sympathizing friends.
