Earnestine Rogers Nunnally was born on January 8, 1951, in Clay County, Georgia to the late Fortune Daniels and Elizabeth Rogers. On May 7, 2025, Earnestine transitioned from her earthly body, to eternal peace and rest, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, in Albany, GA at 7:40 p.m., with her family at her bedside.
At an early age, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and joined Antioch Baptist Church, in Clay County, GA. She later joined Brown Chapel A.M.E. Church.
She received her formal education in the Clay County School System.
Earnestine was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Timothy Nunnally, Sr.
The Matriarch of her family, Earnestine was a fierce and confident woman, with a “Big Heart.” Even with her bold and sharp discipline, she loved her family and tried to keep us together. She loved to read her Bible and crochet blankets for her family and friends.
In additions to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Tyles Nunnally; and seven siblings, Bessie Nunnally, Mary Lee, John L. Rogers, Mike Rogers, Louise Rogers, Adelle Moore, and Evelyn Rogers.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her children, Timothy Nunnally, Jr. (Gloria) and Eddie W. Nunnally (Trenna) of Fort Gaines, GA, Thythyia Cinquidda Nunnally Jones of Mobile, AL, and Jonathan Feagins ( Heather) of Auburn, AL; seven step-children, Tyrone Nunnally (Sherita) and Angela Nunnally of Fort Gaines, Tony Nunnally (Jackie) of Bedford, MS, Keith Nunnally and Kevin Nunnally (Jetta) of Dothan, AL, Aleisha Patterson of Cuthbert, GA, and Tamiko Jackson of Columbus, GA; two sisters, Luella Jones of Cocoa, FL and Agnes Thomas of Miami, FL; eight sisters-n-law, Joanne Nunnally of Leesburg, GA, Patricia Gilbert (Calvin) of Albany, GA, Corrine Patterson of Cuthbert, GA, Dorothy Nunnally of Cocoa, FL, Melva Nunnally and Gertrude Nunnally of Coleman, GA, Cheryl Nunnally of Akron, OH, and Karen Nunnally of Fort Gaines, GA; two brothers-n-law, Willie J. Nunnally of Orlando, FL and Curtis Smith of Fort Gaines, GA; one uncle, Elijah Nunnally of Charlotte, NC; loving and compassionate caregivers, Lakeisha Stephens, Lee Vonne Battle, Trenna Cuff, and Patricia Gilbert; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sympathizing friends.
