Obituary
David Sharenda Gilbert, son of Bessie Mae Gilbert and Leon Gibbs, was born on June 19, 1977, in Clay County Georgia. On Tuesday, June 27, 2023 he entered into eternal rest.
He graduated from Randolph Clay High School. He was employed with New Horizons, in Cuthbert, Georgia for many years.
David will be remembered for his humble spirit.
He was preceded in death by three uncles, Johnny Frank Fair, Willie M. Fair, and Johnny James Fair; and one aunt, Carrie B. Shorter.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory his mother, Bessie Mae Gilbert of Fort Gaines, Georgia; his father Leon Gibbs of Morris, Georgia; two sisters, Deborah Gilbert of Fort Gaines, Georgia and Joann Thomas of Fort Gaines, Georgia; one brother-n-law, Lonnie Thomas of Cuthbert, Georgia; two nephews, Ja’Maryan and Marcellus Long of Fort Gaines, Georgia; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and sympathizing friends.
