Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ called Brother Darrell Lamar Jackson from this life on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at LifeBrite Community Hospital of Early in Blakely, GA.
Lovingly nicknamed “Rell,” and “Molly Cube” by his family, he was born in Clay County, Georgia on December 15, 1972, to the parentage of Mrs. Rosie Jean Jackson and the late Bobby James Jackson. He attended the public schools of Clay County, Ga. He was joined in Holy matrimony to the late Mrs. Mary Reynolds Jackson on April 27, 2021.
In addition to his father and wife, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kaa’yor Armani Gowdy.
He was always a meek and mild person/gentleman with a very giving heart. He had a side of humor and was always slow to anger.
He leaves to cherish his sweet memories, his devoted mother, Mrs. Rosie Jean Jackson of Ft. Gaines, GA; one daughter, Kemora Nishai Powell(Savannah, GA), one son, Darrell L. Jackson, Jr.(Fort Gaines, GA), two grandchildren, Ke’mari Ahmir Powell(Savannah, GA) and Kaliyah A. Jackson(Abbeville, AL), one brother, Mr. Timothy James Jackson(Fort Gaines, GA), one sister, Tonjala Evette Jackson(Fort Gaines, GA), a loving grandmother, Sarah McCray of Fort Gaines, Ga; a mother-in-law, Cherry Foy Smith(Marven) of Fort Gaines, GA, three aunts, Era Davis(Larry), Fort Gaines, GA, Betty Jackson, Blakely, GA, Johnnie M. Jackson, Brooklyn, NY, three uncles, Willie James Jackson, Jr.(Brooklyn, NY), Dr. Eugene Jackson(Cassandra), Atlanta, GA, Richard Jackson, Fort Gaines, GA, three great-aunts, two great-uncles, one grand mother-in-law, Annie Ruth Reynolds of Cuthbert, GA , one brother-in-law, three sister-in laws and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
