Christine (Brown) Davis

This natural earth was blessed with the presence of Sister Christine Davis for 95 years before the Lord called her home on June 27, 2022 at Fort Gaines Health and Rehab.  Christine was born on May 23, 1927 to the late Otis Brown and Missouri Allen.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Thompson Grove Baptist Church in Fort Gaines, GA.  Christine, affectionately known as Moa, loved cleaning, joking, cooking and enjoying family.

She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Elijah Davis in 1953.  She attended school at Mitchell Grove Baptist Church in Fort Gaines.

She was preceeded in death by 3 children, Mary Davis, Henry James Davis and Adel Jones; 2 sisters, Mildred Jackson and Clara Hull; and 2 brothers, Jack Reynolds and Walter Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memories 8 children, Fannie (Joe) Hardnett, Alvin Davis, Clara Davis, Billy Davis, Willie (Regina) Davis,   Louella Davis (Lee) all of Fort Gaines, GA, Airbrilla Mortimer of Miami, FL and Eugene Davis of Abbeville, AL; one sister-in-law, Sally B. Jackson Of Dickey, GA; one special friend, Helen Flucker; 31 grandchildren; 67 great grandchildren; 31 great, great grandchildren and  a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
