Cheryl Dean Jackson Gochett was born January 13, 1969 to the late Willie Jackson II and Luretha Jackson. She was the fourth of eight children.
Cheryl attended the Clay County and Randolph County School System.
Cheryl was united in marriage to William “Mal” Gochett in Eufaula, Al, and to that union two children were born.
“Poonk” as many called her enjoyed life to the fullest and had a heart of gold.
Cheryl gave her time and energy unselfishly to Crowne Health Care for over a decade.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband, William “Mal” Gochett; her father, Willie Jackson; a son, Willie Romero Gochett; , a sister, Phyllis Gardner; and a brother, Jermaine Jackson.
She is survived by her mother, Luretha Jackson; two daughters, Christina Johnson and Breuna (Phillip) Gochett of Eufaula, AL; one son, Anthony (Sheneka) Jackson of Eufaula, AL; five brothers, Wayne (Claudia) Williams of Victorville, CA, Willie Jackson III, David (Mary) Jackson, and James (Lena) Jackson all of Fort Gaines, GA; and Reginald (Sharon) Jackson of Eufaula, AL; special friends, Melvina Holmes, Mary Harris, and Shirley Woodley, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was a proud grandmother of Quantasia Anderson, Zy’Rihanna Jackson, and Ayden Patterson.
Cheryl was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, and true friend, that will be dearly missed and dearly remembered.
