Brigetta Katrina Isom was born November 5, 1981 to the parentage of Helen and James Isom.
At an early age, she confessed her faith in our Lord and Savior and became a member of the St. Luke MBC, where she served faithfully and was never ashamed to praise our God in any way. Her enthusiasm and love for Christ could also be observed as she listened to Bishop T. D. Jakes and Keisha Cole.
She was a proud graduate of the Class of 2003 from Randolph/Clay High School.
“Getta,” as she was affectionately known, never met a stranger. She was fortunate to share in the Special Olympics held in Albany, GA. She loved shopping and was always well dressed and groomed to the tee. She was the apple of so many eyes because of her bubbly outgoing spirit.
On September 15, 2020 God summoned His Angel to come and bring His child home from the Southeast Medical Center, Dothan, AL.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Heard, Jr., an aunt, Phyllis Ward and her maternal grandparents, Maude and Iziah Z. James.
Those left to cherish her loving memories are her loving and devoted mother, Helen Isom and father, James Isom both of Ft. Gaines, GA; a wonderful and caring brother, Isaac (Patricia) James of Albany, GA; a loving God-sister, Cassandra McFadden of Ft. Gaines, GA; 2 step-brothers, Xavis and James Isom, Jr.; 4 aunts, Pamela Griffin and Maude Shaw both of Ft. Gaines, GA and Odessa (Johnnie) Bethel of Albany, GA and Betty Miller of Albany, GA; 2 uncles, Nobel (Shelia) James and Isaac (Betty) James both of Miami, FL; 9 nieces, 5 nephews, a special friend, Brandi Smith of Atlanta, GA and a host of other relatives and friends.
