Brenda Loretta (Sampson) Christian

Sister Brenda Christian was born May 11, 1965 to the parentage of the late Bertha L. Spann and James Sampson, Jr.  She was a beautiful and loving young lady who was affectionately known by her siblings as “Bren.”

At an early age she confessed in Christ and became a member of the Springfield Missionary Baptist Church.  She was also a graduate of Randolph-Clay High School  Class of 1983.

During her adult life she met and married Mr. Chester Christian and later joined the New Judson Church family. She was always caring for others as she continued to labor as a Certified Nurses Assistant.

On Saturday, August 14, 2021 God called his child, Brenda home to rest.  Bren has taken a journey home to be with our Heavenly Father and is now smiling upon her family that are left to cherish her loving memories which include her loving and devoted husband, Chester Christian of Ft. Gaines, GA; 2 sisters, Angela Sampson of Cuthbert, GA and Anvia Rountree of Powder Springs, GA; 2 brothers, Derry L. Spann of Palatka, FL and Lacarmen Mitchell of Birmingham, AL; a step daughter, Cassandra McFadden of Ft. Gaines, GA; 4 grandchildren,  15 great grandchildren, 5 sisters-in-law, Gloria Peterson, Ella (Lance) Cannon and Lynette (Jimmy) Carter all of Ft. Gaines, GA; Cora Christian of Morrow, GA and Mashell Veal of Newark, NJ; 4 brothers-in-law; Eddie Roy (Shirley) Christian of Ft. Gaines, GA, Willie J. Christian of Atlanta, GA, Willie M. (Equilla) Christian of Riverdale, GA and J. C. (Audrey) Christian of Marlin, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and loving friends.
