Obituary

     Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

Betty Ruth affectionately known as “Just Betty” was born January 22, 1960 in Ft. Gaines, Georgia to the parentage of the late Marie Rick Major and George Hull of Florida.  She also called Willie Robert Majors as her second father who also preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her loving memories are three children, Kemekia (Devontrez) Scott of Edison, GA; Catalia Hyacinthe of Ft. Gaines, GA and Domonique (Melissa) Ricks of Sasser, GA; a God-son, Nicholas (Brittney) Alexander of Ft. Gaines, GA; 5 grandchildren, Morgan, Savannah, Dtravion, Adayshia and Cairek; two great grandchildren, Nasire and Skylar; a sister, Bettty Sue Ricks of Ft. Gaines, GA; 2 special cousins who were reared as brothers, Willie Henry (Teresa) and Gregory (Lisa) Smith; 2 step sisters, Kim and Rena; 2 brothers, Jerome and Thomas Hull and a step-brother, Robert (Shanika) Price; 2 special nieces, Toccara (Montavius) Mitchell of Columbus, GA and Telesha Ricks of Ft. Gaines, GA; a loving aunt, Catherine Cossentino of Brooklyn, NY;  special friend, Timothy Williams; Caretaker, Tekilyo (Dank) Jackson and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
